The length of time it takes to see results from counselling sessions with Bells Therapy varies depending on the individual and the issues being addressed. Some clients may see improvements after just a few sessions, while others may require longer-term therapy.
Both in-person and virtual sessions offer unique benefits—and what matters most is what feels right for you. Some people find it helpful to step into a dedicated therapy space to get into the right mindset. Others feel most comfortable connecting from the safety of their own home—whether that’s a cozy bedroom or a quiet, familiar corner.

Individual therapy sessions—whether virtual or in-person—typically run for about 45 minutes, with the final 5 minutes reserved for summarizing the session and discussing next steps, including rebooking if needed.
If you're a first-time client, your journey will begin with an intake session. This is a relaxed, conversational appointment where we take time to get to know you, explore what brings you to therapy, and start building a foundation of trust and understanding.
After the initial session, each appointment will be shaped by your unique needs, goals, and healing process. Cassandra tailors her approach to fit you, drawing on a range of therapeutic methods to support your growth at a pace that feels right.
Cassandra is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Manitoba College of Social Workers. She holds a Masters of Social Work (MSW) and a Bachelors degree in Human Ecology with a focus on Family Violence .
Bells Therapy provides therapy services for adults ages 18+ and adolescents.
At this time, Bells Therapy offers direct billing through the NIHB program. Cassandra is also a Blue Cross provider but does not provide direct billing to Blue Cross. Bells Therapy does not direct bill to any benefit or insurance companies. If this is a barrier, you can work with Cassandra to set up a payment plan that works for you.
